This was the case today with a customer of ours. They had ordered a case of the biodegradable tall kitchen bags, the 13 gallon ones and they were ripping/tearing on usage. It happens. The question is why?
Generally speaking, most people assume that the biodegradable tall kitchen trash bag from biogbag is the same level of “toughness” as the old plastic bags that they grew up with. That is not the case. In fact, the users of these biodegradable trash bags are the future thinkers of the world. In other words, understanding the product selection and adjusting appropriately. It is not an easy transformation.
I believe that the usage of the biobag biodegradable trash bag takes a bit of an adjustment period as any other tool. Otherwise, make sure your trash can is round or rectangular. Lots of trouble with the square receptacles.

]]>First lets talk about the product before we get into the pluses and minuses of MLM type organizations. First on the plus side. Morace has said that after a week, the daily regmin of drinking this product, about a bottle a week is improving his health. I am not a doctor and neither is he but who is to day that he dosen’t have a bit more pep in his step. If he feels it than good news for him.
Secondly, on the plus side, in the past 3 weeks, he has engaged and signed up a large number of people to this product. Don’t get me wrong, it is about marketing, product consumption and ultimately revenue generation which is fine, but I admit I am surprised that he has generated so much interest in such a short time.
On the Minus side, I hate MLM ideas whether called ponzi or by some other name. This is not a ponzi by the definition provided and the users/distributors actually use the product. Additionally, when becoming a distributor, you should plan on at least 2 cases per month which can set you back $235/month or more. Consider a case for personal consumption and a case for marketing the product to sign up additional distributors.
My take on this is pending and really related to what I think about the product. I am following the regiment prescribed by Morace and while it won’t heal my cracked ribs (thats another story), I am curious to see how the product will make me feel overall. FYI, my wife drinks a similiar product that she buys from our local grocery store, I don’t see a health change.
Hats off to Morace and make sure to visit his Mona Vie website. Who knows, this could finallly be the MLM product that you benefit from.

]]>The camp has a silent auction to raise funds so we created a nice gift basket with about $100 worth of goodies ranging from biobag products to rainshower shower heads. Two bids were received out of over 200 people that attended the shows. There were only 5 items on the silent auction. Other items included facials, spa treatments, etc. Kind of makes me wonder.
Also, we had a garage sale recently and we put out some of our green cleaning products, hemp shower curtains, biobags etc. Not one sale. It was amazing. People would pay what I consider crazy sums for old electronics but nothing greent. Kind of makes me wonder.

]]>21. Stocking stuffer for pet owners. The biodegradable dog poop bags at less than $5.00 are a great gift for the forgetful neighbor.
22. Temp storage for recycling newspapers. If you are like us, there is a ton of recycleable materials collected in the kitchen and house before someone takes them out to the recycle bin. These are great for that, but the 3 gallon biobag is a bit small, and the 13 gallon is a bit big for our household.
23. Camping trips to collect food wastes. We camp at least twice a year and the biobag 3 gallon bag is great to wrapup food scraps. No worries to bury , but remember, compostable materials only.
24. Donations. Once a year, the Fort Lauderdale Humane society has a 1K dog walk to raise awareness and funds for their facility. All those dogs, lots of poop and people generally forget to bring bags. The humane society sets up poop bag booths along the way for convenience. Buy a case of biobag biodegradable dog poop bags and make a donation.
25. Trick or treat goodie bags. I don’t know if this will work yet, but we are going to prepare small bags using the biobag 3 gallon biodegradable bags to bundle up goodies for kids this halloween.

]]>11. Oil Catcher. My mother in law has a leaky car and despite our urgings, will not fix it resulting in cardboard on her garage floor to catch the oil drippings. This weekend, we offered a better solution. A 13 gallon biobag with eco friendly cat litter on top to catch the oil. I know what your thinking about the oil being bad, but this is a good alternative.
12. Car liner. Also this weekend, we sodded parts of our new yard. If you have never done it, its a dirty job. We lined the back of our Mazda with the larger Biobag lawn and leaf bags to put the sod on. No waste and easy cleanup.
13. Plants. This sounds a bit strange I know, but the small biobag dog poop bags are great to fill with potting soil and then put smaller plants in to grow. Easy to transfer the clippings right into the ground along with the bag and it make a great nutrient for the new plant.
14. Fishheads. I know I a reaching here, but as a younger man, we fished alot and my dad always had me bury the fishheads and guts near his rose bushes. The nutrient value is great, so this weekend, guess where the 3 gallon biobags ended up. Right near our new plants just waiting for the decomposition to take place.
15. Drycleaning bags. When I picked up my drycleaning on Saturday, I brought a biobag lawn and leaf bag with me for the drycleaner to use instead of their normal plastic cover. Fits perfectly and saves on at least on piece of bad plastic hitting the dump.
16. Cat Poop. We have a cat that thankfully uses a litter box. Cat poop is smelly but rather than remove all the litter, the small biobag dog poop bags works like a charm.
17. Take home bags. We are going to try this hint next weekend for our first new home garage sale. Lots of small items but the biobag 3 gallon waste bags will be great for people to use to take the smaller items home.
18. Duh, filling with raked leaves.
19. She sells seashells… Well you know the rhyme. These biobag 3 gallon bags are very handy for taking shells home from the beach once we clean them off.
20..Out with the old flowers. My wife likes to keep flowers in our home but after a week or so, its time for them to go. Go that is, right into a biobag and into the compost pile. Did I mention we had one? Great for collecting food scraps.
till next time…..
]]>Continuing on:
6. Biobag 3 and 13 gallon waste bags are great to bring to the beach both for trash collection as also to store wet sandy towels.
7. School experiements. The box says biodegradable, but this makes a great semester experiment especially if you have the ability to put the bag into a narrow aquarium so the kids can watch the decay take place. Kind of like watching paint peel.
8. Duh, for your garbage cans.
9. Storing Christmas wrapping paper. Some of you I am sure stock up the week after Christmas on sales such as wrapping paper. Put these tubes in the lawn and leaf size bags, tie them up and and store them for next year.
10. Home painting projects. To be sure, we have all used some kind of drop cloth or other material to put under the small items we paint. Such as say, a rocking chair. The biobag lawn and leaf bags are great for this and guilt free when you throw them away.
Again, my apologies, this is a continuing effort rather than some arbitrary list I copied somewhere else. These are actually the things we do with this fantastic product.

]]>Starting this month, I want to introduce you to some other uses for these products that you may not have thought about when you first purchased the products and as usual, these will link back to our new home adventures.
1. The Biobag 3 gallon waste bag makes an excellent storage device for our dog food bowl. Here in South Florida, Ants are a persistent problem, especially with pets and pet food. Our dog Abby dosen’t seem to finish her food and rather than let it go to waste, we put her bowl in the bag, twist it and voila, a nicely sealed bag safe from maruading ants.
2. The Biobag waste bag as a biodegradable dog poop bag. I don’t know how it is in your home but the biobag 3 gallon bag also makes for a quick waste pickup after the morning meal.
3. Horse poop storage. I am kidding here, but the biobag tall kitchen bags are great to keep in the car for our girls to put their boots an chaps after horseback riding lessons. Definately don’t want those feet in the car. The best thing, after a couple of uses, guilt free to put the rest of your car trash into for quick disposal.
4. The Biobag Large dog poop bag. This is one of my favorite products not only because of its size but also that it doubles as an ourdoor cover for our candles and other items we don’t want to get wet.
5. The biobag dog poop bag itself is great. It is small enough to fit like a glove so that you can scoop out the cat litter box.
till next time….and your suggestions are always welcome.
]]>Not to be “debbie downer” on this topic, but the passage of time calls into consideration the actions I take every day. We put down mulch this weekend. As most of you know, we bought a new house 3 months ago, a true fixer upper. While some on my street are content with the demolition of a home as old as ours, we have found a certain charm that existed previously. Our floors are the original terrazzo, which is expensive to install today, but is actually very cool from a temperature perspective and no worries about dirty grout lines. Our kitchen is somewhat vintage in that it was last updated in 1980 which makes it a strong 30 years old. We will remodel that next year. For the green envious and with Summertime upon us, I offer this simple advice.
First, spend time outside and soak up life. Fiddle with your plants, buy some mulch, but get some fresh air.
Second, cruise around on a Saturday and check out some garage sales. If you neighborhood is anything like ours, likely something will catch your eye at a great discount. At a minimum, you are extending the life of something.
Third, be kind to someone for no reason at all. It will make both of your days.

]]>The truth is that humanity really only has a small grasp on the earth no matter how knowledgable we think we are. Truely, recorded history from a scientific perpsective is less than 200 years and since the best of us only live to 85, we really have no idea about mother Earth. No matter, it dosent’ mean that we disregard the planet we live on for the brief moments we inhabit this great planet.
Speaking of mother Earth, we are going on the 8th week of the BP disaster. As my friends at 7th generation say, it will take 7 generations to understand how our actions today impact the future. Most of aren’t alive 7 generations unless we are truely wonders of our generations as well as early life breeders. No matter, it just makes sense that if you take care of what is around you, it will take care of you. Common sense really.
So lets run down the list.
Use Biodegradable trash bags, no sense is preserving our garbage for future archeologists.
If you have a dog, use biodegradable dog poop bags, archeologists won’t want to see their crap either.
If you don’t have glass shower curtains, for heavens sake, use a natural fabric like a cotton shower curtain.
Think of your and our water supply, use green cleaning products.
Smile more than you frown, that will be remembered.

]]>At our beach, there are separate bins for garbage and recyclable products , but I wonder, how many bottles end up in the ocean and is it a bad thing? I mean, the kids love to collect sea glass and lets face it, glass is really just heated sand. Is the solution so simple that we just move back to glass? Hard to say , but I want to hear your feedback.
I saw a great video on Biobags on youtube yesterday, made by, you guessed it, Biobag USA. As you know, we are a big biogag reseller and their biodegradable dog poop bags are one of our best selling products. It amazes me the amount of variability on utube that people take videos of. Tomorrow I will put the kids on their own video project. Make a product video for youtube.
